    A digital strategy encompasses the activities concerning ‘creation and appropriation of value, by exploiting digital technologies to achieve long-term objectives’ (Øvrelid, 2022). Since the activity of digitalization has transformative potential, traditional educational, a digital strategy will provide an exclusive guide that defines the goal for your digital project and outlines the most effective routes to achieve them. It will outline the target audience, competitive landscape, goals, key performance indicators and what current user journeys exist. The digital strategy will provide a consistent direction and vision to ensure that everyone involved is on the same page and will utilise defined activities to achieve the goals and vision.




Technology Plan




Technology planning is a process that takes time and resources in order to understand what is appropriate for staff and the organization. Program directors and their management staff may use this resource to further their understanding of what is involved in technology planning (U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, 2021).


The Right Fit for The Lodge School

    Using a S.W.O.T it was determined that opportunities which can arise from developing a digital strategy were too numerous to ignore and that failure to do so compromising the school's ability to provide effective and relevant education. Moreover, while a few areas utilised to create  digital strategy were found at the school, the limited training, connectivity and physical infrastructure issues identified, can frustrate and inhibit whole school outcomes and increased success.
